Oh My! I'm so sorry! I forgot to add my email address in my previous post! Can you delete it? It's the very first one. Here is my post again (but with my email).
Hiya! Great giveaway!
What Mythological Would You Be and Why?
I would want to be a wish-giving fairy for the less fortunate. It's kind of odd but that's what I want to be. I want to be able to help people and give them what they want. I won't give it to them if it's too extreme though. I want to be able to give them their food or restore them to their proper health. You could say I'm a bit of a humanitarian (hehe).
Thanks!

Ok. I would probably be a mermaid or a fairy.
Fairy - I was born to fly. Plus fairies are fun and sparkly and cause mischief - which are 3 of my favorite things.
Mermaid - I fail at swimming, so if I was a mermaid that'd correct that. Plus mermaids have shiny tails, and live in the ocean - I would love to explore the ocean.AND mermaids/sirens are said to have beautiful entrancing voices which would be pretty much sweet.

What Mythological Would You Be and Why?
I would create a new, and improved, new Mythological creature and become Booknix, Its a Phoenix mix with Books, so every time you finish a book, this would be like the life of the Phoenix, it would go up in flames and be re-born into the book your soul cries for.

Thanks for the A-mazing contest. And Hi Michelle!
A Sphinx - wise creature who can help people but likes to make them earn it. Tricky but always fun and interesting.

If I were a mythological being, I would want to be a dragon! They get to burn things up and have lots of treasure. Plus, flying!
Thanks for the giveaway!

I'm changing my mind. I originally thought of this, but thought it would be to out there.. but here we go.
I would be "The Hag" - in mythology often related to winter (I was born in december), a wise creature (I'm known to be wise).
Often times the hag turns into a beautiful maiden in myths. (Yes, I am vain and consider myself beautiful).
Also, I like the disguise factor. The way she can blend in or decide to not. She chooses to help those that are deserving and punish those that are not.
If you want a disney reference - the hag in Beauty in the Beast - she punishes him, but leaves him a way out - a way that will improve his character.
:) I know it's not quite a "being", but I think it suits me.

If I could be any mythological creature, I would have to say that I would end up being an elf, one of the ones who lives in trees and makes everything from wood. I would have flowers and leaves woven together into the braids within my hair, pulled back over my pointed ears. My skin would be darker tinted because of my time spent in and out of the sun while working in the forest. When travelers would come along, I would be one of few who would come out of our homes/trees and purposely misdirect them, leading them into the darker areas of the forest where creatures of their darkest imagination live. Because, come on, who doesn't love being a bit evil?
Being an elf, I would be much more connected with the world around me, and mother earth. The animals of the forest would befriend me and the rest of us, where I would enjoy the company of a brilliant stag (male deer) while I explored the forest in search of food and for the thrill of adventure, avoiding the darker parts where I would commonly misdirect travelers who are foolish enough to enter the woods with mortality hanging on their shoulders.
I would love to be an elf because they live in freedom, outside the barriers of the human society where electronic rule over everything. It would be a retreat away from modern life into the unknown, which would (hopefully) grow on me.
Thank you for the contest!

Well, my mythical creature would be a charliephinx. lol, so I made up the name. I don't know if it already exists but it would be a shape shifter...so that whenever I want to be a human or a phoenix, I have the power to do that. This is because I thought it would be really cool to fly and I think phoenixes are beautiful, but I'd still want to be human once in awhile. :)

Hmm...that's a tough choice.
I'd probably have to go with a shapeshifter of some sorts. I strongly believe that true beauty lies on the inside, and that too many people in our world today take others at face value only. I think it would be interesting to have the powers of a shapeshifter, not only to test out my belief, but to show that people are always changing on the outside (though not as extreme as I would be :) )via haircuts, facelifts, makeup, etc. A wise person once said that physical beauty is fleeting, and I believe that all people should be cherished for their inner beauty and value!

Thanks for the contest!
I would like to be Cerberus because he has 3 heads O.O That is just so cool to have 3 heads. No need for the whole magical wishing powers because I can literally bite your head off then glare at your companion until he pees on his pants while simultaneously eat ice cream lol

Oooo... a mythological creature? I would LOVE to be a flying unicorn like those in My Little Pony!!! They're so cute and pretty! I've always loved horses and I think unicorns are very magical. It would be just awesome being a flying unicorn, right? :)

I would want to be the Amotken
The creator deity of the Salish, North American Indians, he dwells in heaven, solitary and alone. He is an old man, wise and kind, with an infinite compassion for his creation. The Coyote is his messenger(I love all dogs). One of the legends relating to Amotken tells of his creating five young women from five hairs taken from his head. When the God asked the women what they wanted to be, he received five different replies. The first wished to be the mother of wickedness, the second that of goodness. The third wanted to be the mother of the Earth, the fourth of fire, and the fifth of water. Amotken granted their wishes, declaring that at first, wickedness should rule the world, but in time goodness would win out.
How cool it would be to be Old but so Very Wise, to grant wishes and see the good & bad in people. Also to have infinite compassion is beyond words to me Compassion is so very important in this world and not a-lot of people have it.
Thanks for this giveaway
Winks & Smiles ;o) Shawna
I would love to be a mermaid. The reason is because growing up in Florida, we had an in-ground pool and my mom always said I swam like a mermaid. Then to make matters worse, The Little Mermaid came out shortly after I learned how to swim. From then on, I have always had an obsession with mermaid. Plus they are really pretty.

Hmm... I would say Time Lord, but they're not exactly mythical creatures. And vampires have been overdone. So I guess I'll go with elves. I don't mean the Santa Claus type of elf, but the demi-god-like elves of Norse mythology, JRR Tolkien, and RPGs everywhere. Tall, beautiful, immortal, and powerful. Hopefully magical abilities would be included.
