Overall:
Laurel was mesmerized, staring at the pale things with wide eyes. They were terrifyingly beautiful—too beautiful for words.I don’t mind a good faerie story, but stories about them have never been on the top of my reading list. However I’m glad I read this book. It intensified my need to read similar Faerie stories.
Laurel turned to the mirror again, her eyes on the hovering petals that floated beside her head. They looked almost like wings.
In this extraordinary tale of magic and intrigue, romance and danger, everything you thought you knew about faeries will be changed forever.
The twists on what faeries are was really intriguing to me. I loved learning what faeries were in this world right along with Laurel. Especially when she was learning about it from Tamani, who I absolutely adore. It was also a new twist on what the faeries were doing, and how Laurel was involved.
It was a cute story and I definitely will continue reading the series, if for no other reason to read more about Laurel’s relation with Tamani, though that won’t be the only reason.

Hmmm I want this book. Im no fan of fairies, but since I read Wondrous Strange, and Mellisa Marr, i decided I may not be against them that much anymore,
I have this but haven't read it yet. I can't wait to though!
